14 Chicago Area Chapels

Not connected with a church but want a church feel for your ceremony? Get married in a chapel!

These 14 chapels are open to anyone. They are owned by not-for-profit groups like park districts. In order to pay for the upkeep of these historical buildings, they charge for weddings.

You get a beautiful, historic chapel to get married in. They get the funds to maintain them. A win-win!

Rev. Phil will be glad to officiate your wedding in any of these. Just fill out the form on this page for a complimentary one hour consultation.

Rave Review

“Rev Phil was amazing! From the moment we first contacted him he was professional, approachable and organized. He was incredibly accommodating with all of our scheduling. He made everyone in the audience feel at home. He spent countless hours with us so that we knew for sure what we were having for our ceremony and worked tirelessly to make it exactly what we wanted. We had guests who attend a dozen weddings a year come up to us and tell us that he made our special and one of the best they had ever attended. He was funny and lively while maintaining the right amount of seriousness on the day. He also took charge of the rehearsal and made sure everyone knew exactly what they needed to on the actual day. Furthermore, he has sensational ideas for customizing the ceremony. I would recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone looking for an officiant, he was stellar.”

“Rev. Phil was so professional and easy to get along with. From the moment I met him, I felt comforted and relaxed. I felt like he understood what my Husband and I were looking for and that he was as committed as I was to creating a once in a lifetime experience. He had such extensive knowledge about weddings that I would only expect from a high paid wedding coordinator. He knew about my wedding party placement, how to set up and stage so that we got the best shots from the photographer, helped coordinate with my other vendors and so much more. This was better than I ever imagined. After meeting with Rev. Phil, he completely understood us, knew who we were as a couple and knew exactly what we were looking for in our ceremony. He captured us as he told our family and friends about our love story better than we ever could of. I would definitely recommend him to anyone and everyone!”
